One of my favorite times of the year is college football season. With college football comes all the joys of it: tailgating, the crisp fall air, the bands playing, and the cheerleaders. My favorite college football team is the University of Michigan, so be ready for plenty of posts on the Wolverines over the next few months. On Saturday, they opened their season with a 34-10 win over Western Michigan, in a lightning storm shortened game. Next week they take on rival Notre Dame (0-1) under the lights at the Big House in Ann Arbor. On top of that, ESPN College Game Day will be there.
Overall, the season started out pretty well for my teams. North Carolina, Auburn, Michigan, Virginia, Kentucky, Penn State, and Clemson won. On top of that, Oregon and Notre Dame both lost. The only disappointment was Ole Miss losing to BYU.
