While I do prefer college football over the NFL, my favorite NFL team is the Dallas Cowboys. Last night they opened the season at the New York Jets. While the first three quarters were great (Dallas was leading 17-10), in typical Tony Romo fashion, things started to fall apart. Romo did pass for 342 yards, and two touchdown passes, he was responsible for two key turn-overs late in the game. They were outscored 17-7 in the final frame, and lost 27-24.
After last season's 6-10 finish, this was not the start Cowboys fans were looking for. Next week, Dallas is at San Fransisco, who beat Seattle 33-17 yesterday.
